Health and Social Care trip
The following message was sent to me by Ms Sandhal.
Just a message to say that I thoroughly enjoyed taking the Yr10s out to HollyBank residential home on Tuesday. They were so respectful and well behaved. They approached clients with a mature and positive attitude and were quite generally, great ambassadors for the school!
Well done girls and keep up the good work.

Immunisation
Don't forget to bring your consent forms back to school. See me straight away if you haven't got one. The vaccinations are this week! Nobody ever wants to have them but it makes a lot of sense to be brave and do it.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!*
* wishing you a Happy Chinese New Year!
The Chinese calendar is different from that used in the United Kingdom. It is made up of a cycle of 12 years with each year named after a different animal. The Chinese New Year starts on February 3rd - it will be the year 4709 according to the Chinese calendar and also the Year of the Rabbit.
Over one sixth of the world's population will celebrate the New Year. Celebrations vary in different parts of the world but the most important idea is to remember family and wish everyone peace and prosperity in the coming year.
